About thirty Lower TTutt and Petono motor cyclists, who intend shortly to form a club, journeyed to Mungaroa on Sunday, and thero spent ail enjoyable day. The unusual siirlit of such a largo number of cyclists moving through tho borough attracted ouite a lot of interest. Tlio Petono Ambulance Van Committee in its annual report states that tho expenditure for tho year exceeded the receipts by £1G Gs. 3d. Tho .year was commenced with a credit balaneo of £0o 18s. 9d., and tlio receipts during tho year amounted to .019 13s. 3d., made up as under; —Patients' fees paid, £25 35.; Gear Company's employees' contribution, £S los.; Charitable Aid Board, £3 10s.; football match, £3 35.; children's carnival, £8; Petono Woollen Mill employees, £1 2s. Durins; the year tho van carried fifty-eight, patients, forty-eight. of whom were residents of I'etono.
