FOl'tt LICENSEES CHARGED, Adjournments to December 15 ivora matlo in the following cases against' licensesFannin Pool (Empire Hotel), John James Firth (City Hotel), and Daniel Buckley (Forresters' Arms Hotel) ihargctl with having (t) sold liquor, (2) exposed liquor for sale, (3) opened premises for the sale of liquor; and John Charles Mason (l'anaina Hotel), having Bold liquor. An adjournment was made also in tho caso of Maud Hatner, an employe© fit tho Panama Hotel. who is vbargod with having supplied liquor. customers and Barman Fined. Tho following were fined for having been on licensed promises on somo ono of the days on which tlio Mayor,or-, tiered tho hotels to close:—George Gardiner, John Benson, Charles A. F. C. Cardozo. William Kean, Joseph Mitchell, Hcnrv Stanhope, John Wheeler, llcnr? Banks. Daniel Cairns, William Baird",'James M'Donald, John May, and Alfred Harris. In each caso tho penalty was 10s., with costs is. Henry Heffcnwn. a barman at tho City H«toI, was fined £1 for having sold ("supplied") liquor ou November 21.
