Thp estimated attendance to date is 75,000 people, notwithstanding the unfavourable weather which lasted for four or. five days after the- official oponim;. The Royal Artillery Hand attracted a crowd of over 5000 to tho grounds yesterday afternoon for the first of the series of Sunday, concerts. Delightful weather prevailed, and the music was greatly appreciated. Of the outside attractions this week the principal will bo the Dominion Show of the Auckland A. and I'. Association. it will oxtend from Wednesday to Saturday, and tl\o authorities anticipate a hi}* inihsx of country folk in connection therewith.
