FLOWER SHOW.
The National Sweet Pea and Hose and Carnation Combined Show in the ■Town Half on Wednesday next promises ■io bo the largest display so far' staged in Wellington. Exhibits are promised from the South Island and from ad parts of the North Island up to and including Auckland. Reports from all rjaHs are that sweet peas (his year are exceptionally good. Three growers have promised the club all their spare blooms after their exhibits have been selected, so that there will bo > lara;e. quantities at the disposal of ladies lor decorative purposes if they will at- once communicate with Mr. rox, at 1/ Luna Street. On the evening of the show m-aclicallv all the blooms will be sold bv auction, this being an innovation of this year's show. for trie show close to-day, before G p.m.
