MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Mr. W. G. Riddoll, S.M., occupied the Doiicli at the Magistrate's Court on Saturday morning. • Five first offenders, for drunkenness, Hvere fined 10s. cacli or '48 hours' imprisonment. Thomas Yates pleaded guilty to the "theft of a raincoat, tho property of' Messrs. Greon and Davis. On the application of Chief Detective Broborg ho was remanded until December" 12, in order, that somo other matters may bo investigated.
