A kiifje" mii-nbcr were present, and resolutions were passed agreeing to the suggestions. A oiimwittee was formed to proceed with the work of raisin;; funds. It is mi-emi-ei! to canvass for £1(100 t« provide a scholarship. Tho following motion was 'proposed aiid carried:—"That a. fund be raised to provide higher ochioation for as- many farmers 1 ehildrou and deseo.nrtams of farmers us the funds will permit, and: with a view of furthering (he proposal siii, active campaign he promoted throughout the Auckland province.'-
