This, by a combination of the Opposition and a section of dissatisfied Liberals, was carried by 32 to 29. The Premier (Mr. Watt) immediately secured the adjournment oT the Houso in order to consider tlio position. The Houso meets to-day, when Mr. Watt will announce his intentions. It' is understood ho intends'to seek a dissolution; failing that, ho resigns. CABINET RESIGNS. (Rec. December 5, ,10.5 p.m.) Melbourne, December o. , The Watt Ministry has resigned. The Acting-Governor will probably invito Mr. Elmslee, tlio Labour leader, to form a Ministry.
