Sir, —I scarcely deem it necessary, but, at the same time, it might bo just worth while, to say that Iho balderdash which our member gets off his chest in Parliament in no way reflects the opinion of the bulk of the people in this electorate. lie got where he is by ;i fluke, and is never likely to go back. His demand that "peaceful picketing" should bo allowed is the awfidlest rot. Why, .just suppose, while, he is away in Wellington, a halfdozen men took it in turns to juststand in front of liis house—simply stand there, say nothing, throw nothing,: but just stay there- day and night, would he not, as soon as ho heard of this, wire urgent for a policeman to stop it?
