COLE'S DRAPERY PICNIC
Employees of Colo's Cash. Drapery Company held thoir annual picnic at Mason's Gardens, Taita, on Wednesday last, when, a most enjoyable, time was spent. A great many prizes donated by the various warehouses and friends were competed for in various races, and amongst the prize-winners were the following : —Ladies' egg and spoon race: Miss Money, 1; Miss Jackmnn. 2; Miss Patching, 3. Gent's rsa and spoon race: Mr. Ford, 1; Mr. Ponrce, 2. Ladies' sack race: MUs Phillips, 1; Miss Godber, 2. Gent's sack race: Mr. Ford, 1; Mr. Tullock, 2. Ladies' hobble-skirt race: Mrs. Clark. 1; Miss Money, 2. Ladies' blindfold race: Miss Gre-enslade, 1; Miss Watson, 2. Ladies' running; race: Miss Jackman, 1: Miss Patchine, 2. Bovs' sack race: Master Glavin. 1; Master Ridley, 2.
