LOWER HUTT COURT.

Mr. W. G. Piiddoll presided over the monthly sitting .of the Lower Hutt Magistrate's Court yesterday morning. Mr. J. Cudby, J.P., .was associated with him on the Bench.

For allowing ea.ttlq to wander, lines were imposed on the following :■—H. Pilclier, Charles France, and Francis Twomoy, ss, each, with costs 75.. Earl Skinner (two charges) was fined 10s. with costs 7s. on the first charge, and was ordered to pay costs 7s. on the second., In the following undefended civil eases judgment was given for plaintiff by default:—G'lendon Bros. v. James Turner, 125., costs 55.; Thomas Bint v. Jack Hudson, £17 4s. 4d., costs 10s.
