ON P. AND 0. STEAMER MALWA. By Telejraph—Vress Association—CopyTTfhl Fromantle, December 3. A second-class passenger named J. T. .Ward died from smallpox aboard the steamer Malwa, just Jieforo her arrival. The Mahva has been quarantined. It is supposed that Ward became infected at Aden. The disease was of a virulent type. Tho remains wero removed ashoro and cremated. Sydney, December 3. There are three smallpox cases at Temora, ?91 miles south of Sydney. , NINE FRESH CASES. (Rec. December 4, 0.50 a.m.) Sydney, December 3. Nino cases of smallpox wero reported to-day from the suburb of Liohardt—a father, mother, and seven children.
