Of Now Zealand Interest. 'J'lio marriage took niace recently at Wnspei'ton Church, Warwick (Eiurland), of Dr. It. A. Baglcy, sou of Mr. It. P. Baglcy, of Dunediii, and Miss Margaret Rutherford, daughter of Mr. A. ltutlicrford, of Wasncrton. The service, which was choral, was conducted by the vicar, the Rev. Gray Granville. The bride, who was given nwjiy by lmf father, was ill ivory satin, trimmed" with old Italian laco and pearls. Her tulle veil was arranged over a wreath of orange blossom, and sprays of the flower wore arranged on the corsage. Sho wore a heavy gold bracelet, the gift oi the bridegroom, and carried a sheaf of whito lilies. There wcru four bridesmaids —Miss Tliorlmrn, of Leamington, Miss Hcfford, of Sutton, and Miss Elsie and Miss Edith Harris, nieces of the bride. The iirst-nanied two were in cream, and wore gold brooches set with pearls, the gifts of the bridegroom, and the last mentioned two wore white embroidered frocks and gold brooches, also given by the bridegroom. Ail four wore Dolly Vardcn caps of whito embroidered inusiin, trimmed with old-rose coloured ribbon. Their bouquets were of cream chrysanthemums, with trails of autumn leaves. Mr. 11. Marsden, of Horley, Sussex, was the best man. As the bridal party left the church, Mendelssohn's "Wedding March" was played. A large number of friends attended the church, and the subsequent reception. When the brido and bridegroom left for their honeymoon, the former was in a. travelling dress of navy blue with Orion- ; tal trimmings, and a guipure blouse. The hat of black velours was banded with Oriental trimming, and had a Burberry mount. Dr. and Mrs. .11. A. Bagley sailed for New Zealand, via Suez, and Australia, by the s.s. Perthshire. A sale of work for the benefit of St. Mary's Building Fund was opened in tho Parochial Hall at Karori yesterday afternoon. In addition to tho stalls for plain and fancy sewing, home produce, sweets, etc., there was an exhibition of cut flowers, for which prizes, wero offered. Miss Davie's came first with six varieties of roses, and Mr. Bums won second place, in the sweet pea section, Air. Dix was tho prize-winner. In addition to afternoon tea. there was a sale of home-made- cakes, which did not lack buyers. Mrs. Henderson, from Invcrcargill, ami Mrs. Andrac have arrived in Wellington from the South for Miss Ward's wedding, which tikes place, to-day. Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Ward are also in Wellington for the same occasion, and Miss Ward, from Nelson.

The marriage took place at the Presbyterian Church, AVaipawa, oi Miss Jean Forsyth, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Forsyth, Ltmnay,' Aberdcenshirc, and Mr. Frank Butcher, of 'J'aupo. The ceremony- was performed by the Rev. J. T. Omm.. Miss May Gorrie attended as bridesmaid, and Mr. M. Moroncy was tlio best man. The engagement is announced in tho Ghristchureii "Press" of Mr. Aliston Deans, of Sandown, fourth son of Mrs. Deans, Riccartou, . to Miss Noma Knight, second daughter of Mr. H. Knight, Haceconrse Hill, Another engagement announced in the same paper 13 that of Miss May Macalistcr, luvcrcargitl, daughter of Mr. William Macalistcr, Crown Prosecutor, to Mr. J.jMacdonald, of Messrs. J. E. Watson, and Co.; also that of Miss Haze! Thprnliill (Invcrcargili) to Mr. 11. M'D. Smith, of Messrs. Ancombo and Smith, Invcrcargili.
