Sheep: Mixed fat sheep, IBs. Id.; tiro-tooth wethers, 14s. Id. Cattle: Good weaners, 2fo. 6d.;. yearling' steers (small), £2 Is.; lifteen-months steers, £3 9s. 6d.; yearling heifers. £2 55., £2 ?-. 6d. to £3 Is.; springing heifers,, £5 .6s. to. £a 10s.; eows and calves, £3 11a; store cows, £3 95.; forward cows, £4, £4 7s. 6d.. to £4 18s. 6d.; fat eows. £5. £5 12s. 6d M to £5 175.; bulls, £3 10s. to £5 lfe. Messrs. Williams and Kettle, Ltd., report having held their fortnightly sale in the WoodviUe yards on December I,'when thcrcr were practically •no sheep yarded, hut a, full yarding of cattle camo forward and met with fairly keen competition. Practically a. total clearance was effected at the following prices:—Fat cows, £5 7s. %'i 51 f s - ¥- to £1 35.-6 d.; store cowf, hi, 15s. to £4 18s.; three-year steers, £G to £6 95.; Jersey bulls. £3 to £3 17s. 6d.; empty heifers, '£3 10s. to £3 17t=. 6d.; yearling heifers, £3 ss. to £2 55.; yearling bulls, 255. to 35a: springing cows, £4 15s. to £6 7s. 6d.; pigs (slips), 153.; yearling 6tcers, -£3.65. to £3 15s-.
