FIRES IN THE CITY.

The Fire Brigade was called to 58 Elizabeth Street at 8.23 last evening to extinguish a fire hi a seven-roomed house owned by Mrs. Trcadwoll and occupied by Mr. Benjamin Morse. One. room and its contents were destroyed, and other portions of the house suffered damage. An old building at tho rear of tho Theatre Royal, in Johnston Street, caught fire about U o'clock last evening, but "the biazo wns quickly extinguished. The p'aco was formerly used for tjlity storage of motion-picture films. Tho outbreak was discovered by tho constable on beat in tho vicinity.
