In the afternoon Detective-Sergeant Car,sells and Detective Mason arrested Alfred Jsmsen on a char#} of having taken part in a riot on Wharf on October 2-1, tlio daio on which tlio Nnviia and ether vessels were rushed. One Robert Adams was arrest,cd ycs» terday by s special constable on' » charge of having used insulting language. Adams, it wilt be alleged,'was interfering with some, specials' horses near the entrance to tho Taranald Street Wharf.
