Lord Murray of Eiibank, representative of Pearson's, Ltd., lias withdrawn the petroleum contracts from the Ecuador Congress owing to the political feeling engendered, though tho now Ministry will next year revive them. Lord Murray lias signed contracts on behalf of Pearson's for Cartagena and Buenaventura (Colombia) harbour works.
