ACCIDENTS IN THE CITY.
Thomas Burton,' a married man,. 40 years of age, who hails from' Taranaki, and. is. a farmer by occupation, was admitted to the Hospital yesterday morning suffering from a fractured jaw. He sustained his injury wbilo working on the wharf. James Brown, labourer, a single man, 32 years of age, who resides at No. 40 Clyde Quay, was admitted to the Hospital yesterday as tho result of an accident in Tory Street. While walking along the street be is alleged to have slipped ou tho curbing. His injuries consist of a compound fracture of the left leg just above the ankle. A married man named I'ercv Barrow, 20 years of age, residing at No. 6 Ferguson Street, Newtown, was admitted to tho Hospital yesterday. Ho was employed as a labourer on tho reclamation works at Evans Bay, and by some means ho managed to catch a finger under the wheel of a truck as a result of which it was badly crushed.
