In the S.M, Court this morning Ml'o \Yiddowson, S.M., gave judgment in tho cases Joseph Duncan Winter, William Winter, and Lucy Winter, charged with broaches of the Lieensliif' Act at Green Island, Tlio magistrate'said that with regard to t'hu .information for allowing liquor to bo sold on the premises after hours, the evidence showed that liquor was consumed at table, but there was not sufficient evidence to connect tlio lici'iiseo (Joseph Winter) with it. This easc= was dismissed. In regard to the. charge of selling liquor on Sunday preferred against William Winter and Mrs. 'Vyinter, tlio ease against the son was dismissed' and file latter convicted on her own plea of guilty, and fined £3 and costs.
