'flic Wellington members of the New Zealand Mans Society held their monthly meeting on Tuesday evening, Mr, .1. T. (iriffin (vice-president) occupied the chair, and was supported hv tho Rev. Mr. Duinbell (also vice-president). Apclogics for absence were received from tho lion. James Allen, M.P.. who was associated in his school clavs' with the Manx pect and patriot, Tom Brown (whose memory the gathering was commemorating), Mr. 'f.
