HUtBOUR HOAKI) NOT COXCKKNED. Mr. C. W. -Jones asked the chairman t)l the Hai-bom' Hoard (Mr. It. J'Tctchcr), at last uight'ss nicoting, whether the interview, with-himself published in the "New Zealand Truth," was u holla-tide interview, and an expression of his attitude towards Labour. Till- chairman said .that the remarkable feature of that' interview was its truth. ' He would like to know _on which particular point Mr. Jones wished to question him. Mr. Jones said that all ho wished to know' v.ns whether the interview was bona fide. Mr. A. H. liimlmarsh raised a point of order. It seemed as if members wore raisins questions merely to heckle the chairman. It did not matter to the hoard what the chairman's private, opinion was, so long as lie fulfilled his public duties satisfactorily. The chairman uphold the point of order, and rilled tile question out. "We nil know the sourre from which (lie question comes," he concluded.
