HIS ATTITUDE TOWARDS THE "SPECIALS." Replying- in the House of -Representatives yesterday to the question of Jlr./ (!. V. Pearce as to whether the Government would take the necessary steps to liavothe name of Mr. E. Treg'ear taken off tho list of Justices of the Peace of New Zealand, in view of the scurrilous languago said to have been used by him against tho leading farmers of this'couutr.v who are now in Wellington to assist in keeping law and order, tho Hon. A. L. Herdinan (Minister of Justice) stated: "The matter is receiving the consideration of the Government, and will be suitably dealt with."
