VETO LEGISLATION FOB, ULSTER. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, November 25. The "Daily. Chronicle" (Liberal) says that the rumour that 'Ulster was to be given the. right to veto legislation affecting Ulster introduced in an Irish Parliament is merely an ingenious speculation. TURBUCEMT SCENES IN DUBLIN. MEETING BROKEN UP. • : (Roc. November 26, 11.10 p.m.) Oublin, November 26. Turbulent scenes took place- _at a meeting held in Dublin to establish an Irish volunteer corps. Larkinite's interrupted the meeting, and some students created a panic by discharging fireworks. Windows were smashed, doors rushed,, and revolver shots fired. There were' many enrolments.
CABINET DISSENSIONS. (Roe. November 27, 0.20 a.m.) London, November 26. Mr. Birrell (Chief Secretary for Ireland), speaking at Bristol, denied tho rumours of dissensions in the Cabinet, The Government, he said, would go forward, fully persuaded iu Home Rule, but prepared to make _ substantial alterations and modifications without departing from tho principle of Irish selfgovernment.
