Denham Bros., produce merchants, are claiming £!XOO in each ca?o from Senator Myles Ferricks,. for alleged defamation, contained in statements made by Senator derricks during the Federal election campaign regarding Messrs. Denham Bros.' dealings with a customer of the plaintiffs. It is also alleged that Senator Ferricks said at the declaration of the poll that Government money had "been used to fight the Labour candidates.
