SUPREME COURT.
A WAIPAWA DIVORCE SUIT. Mr. Justice Chapman sat- in the Supremo Court yesterday for the purposo of hearing a Waipawa divorce suit. Tho petitioner .was Florence Matilda Deck and tho respondent was Edward Deck. Mr. AY. A. Sim appeared for tho petitioner, while Mr. A, W. Blair appeared for the respondent. His Honour made an order for the case to bo heard in camera. The parties wore married at Moya Gardens, St. Leonards-on-the-Sca, England, on October 13. 1897, and there were two children of the marriage. The ground of the petition was misconduct. After evidence had been taken, a decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute after the* expiration of three months, Costs were awarded against the respondent, and the petitioner was granted tho custody'of tho two children.
