DUTY.OF THE CHURCH. (By T:!«eraph.—Pres? Association.) Timaru, November 25. At a meeting of all the clergy of the Archdeaconry of Canterbury to-day it ivas resolved: —"That this meeting affirms that it is tho solemn duty of tho Church -by prayer and example to uphold the cause of law and order, to obey, the laivs of the Realm, and to give no countenanco to unconstitutional means of altering those laws."
