9 — LAUNCH TRAGEDY. Blenheim, November 24. An oil launch was found floating near Black Pcfint, Marlborough Sounds. On investigation bv a- constablo tho body of a man named M'Cauley, a resident of Bulwer, ivas found ii} Picnic Bay. SERIOUS CYCLING ACCIDENT. Woodville, November 24. A man named E. May, an old resident of Ormoindvillc, who lately purchased a boot bUsiness in Palmerston North, whilst journeying to'OrmondviHe yesterday on.!a motor-bicycle, met with a serious accident at Matahiwi Hill. Ho was going at a good pace when the bicycle steaded, and ho was thrown heavily to the ground, breaking tho left col larbone, fracturing his skiiiT, and badly damaging his head. He was picked up in ail unconscious condition, and brought into Woodville in a passing motor-car- He was compelled to remain ail night at Dr. Mules's residence, but was welfl enough this morning to be removed tack to Palmerston North.
