No. 2 Bhoot, main level: South drive- Ims been extended to 64 feet from the shoot. This drive is carrying a full face of nicclooking wash-dirt qf fair quality. The bottom is rising slightly. drive, off south, has been extended to 48 feet from tho opening, carrying 4ft.. of wash ef a payable nature. The bottom in this drive is running level. Gasstus workings; £nst drive on couth side drive 32 feet in pay. ablo wash. This drive, as was expected, brolto through into the old blocking of Caserns, within 6Ct. of tho extreme south limits of those workings. A drive south has been opened, bnd will be continued for a distance of 20 feet on this course, when e. parallel east drive will be opened in. order to prove the value of the wash left. In driving S. rising ground j? met, but so far tho wash is of fair Quality, Oneparty is hlooking on tho south -side of Uaesius, and ouo rty driving in tho vicinity of tho old shaft—both in paya-blo wash. Transmission lino: No trouble has been experienced with this part of the system during the week.
