MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
THEFT OP COATS FROjl TOWN HALL. In the Magistrate's Court on Saturday, before Sir. W. G. Riddell, S.M,, Thomas Lynch was accused of the theft of three overcoats, belonging raspeijtively to F. Wood, R. C. Calmer, and R. Hughes. It appeared that the coats weire takeft from the Town Kali on Friday night, when a concert was in progress. Lynch was found in the with the coats, and he said that ho did Hot know where ho got them. In Ccrart he said that he was so drunk, that he did hot know what he had done. Lynch was convicted and remanded for sentence till Wednesday.
