ALIEN IMMIGRANTS.
AND THE AMERICAN LABOUR FEDERATION. Br Teleirraph—Press Association—CopyrieM (Rec. November 19, 11 p.m.) Washington November 19. The American Federation of Labour, now sitting at Seattle (in Washington State), has passed a resolution demanding the total exclusion of Asiatics, and also a literature test before Caucasians are admitted; a rigid 'enforcement of the Immigration Laws is demanded, in order to prevent the standard of living being lowered. An influx of immigration is anticipated when the Panama Canal is opened.
