He said that it.was now known' definitely that TempletoU, PoW'er, Caughley, and Rosenbefger, with Colonel Pixotto as manager, left Sail Francisco en November 12, and wero to arrive here on December 3, all being well. Tho tour would start in Chrjstchurch. on December 1,3, the visitors would appear at liivercargill on December 17, at Dunedin on December 20, in Wellington on Pecembor 26 and 27, at Mastcrton on January 1, Waiiganui January 3, Pahne.rstou North January 8 (not finally accepted, but Pabjierston's only chance), Auckland January 10, Roto'rua January 14 (not definite), and Hamilton January 11. The team will leave New Zealand on January 19, and reach Sydney by January 23, Until tlie team arrived in New Zealand, it would not be known when they wished to leave Australia for America, How- '' ever, it was known that they -desired to be back iii Sail Francisco by the end of March. There was plenty of time for all the Australian appointments to be kept. Mr, Marryatt expressed, the opinion that arrangements -could bo made for the team to compete at ,t meeting at Ilobarti As. to why the association had apparently failed to .givs any information to Australia respecting daites, tho trouble was that the elation had. not, had tho information .to give. There ■would' still be ample time for the Australian centres- to make their arrangements. Though' Mr. TJn- : mack was not with the team., it was almost certain that the lectures' arranged for would be delivered. &teps are being taken to finally make arrangements respecting Palmerstan North and Rotorua. A trip to Wsikanae between the date of arrival and the departed for Ghristchutcli is being arranged.
