Ricliapdson and Co.. met the efews of tho Fanny, "Welta, a»d Taiigaroa, and endeavoured to induco thorn to remain at work, 'The seamen gave Mr. Kelly to understand that they would not strike, and tho fanny's msu went so far as to withdraw their notice* already given, Fresh developments arose to* day, however, and, as the result of further telegrams from Seamen'* tinion etews of Messrs, Richardson's Hum, Fanny, Weka, Tangaroa, and To Arabs, and the Ivorth British ■ Freezing Company's steam lighter Ahurjri all gave twenty-four hours' notice to cease work.. Somo ot the vessels named aro oat of port, but the notice will take effect irtthifl tho course of two or three days,
