TENDERS FOR SERVICE TO NIUE ISLAND. TENDERS are invited to provide alternatively for:— (a) Direct..service by sailing vessel or steamer, six trips per annum, Auckland to Niue and return dJtecfc to Auckland.. (b) Service by sailing vessel. Auckland to Tonga, leaving Auckland every eight weeks, thence by steamer Tonga to Niue. (c) Service by steamer every four weeks between Tonga and Nine. Sailing vessel, oil engine preferred, to have accommodation for not less than six cabin passengers, and a cargo-carrying capacity of not less than 100 tons copra under'hatches. Steamer for direct service to be of a cargo-carrying capacity of not less than 150 tons under hatches, speed not less than eight knots, and to have cabin accommodation for not less than six cabin passengers.
