'J'lia Wellington-owned Waldemar, who ran two seconds at Otaki, is the best performer engaged. L, Wilson will ride him. Panthca and Glenlivet .have both broken down, and will be- out of the Welter Handicap. Astonishment is about the best performer k the race. Tha field in the big race will bo reduced to live, as neither Me.rrie Frank nor Waipaku are hero. Imarose, who made- a favourable impi'ession on his first appearuuoo at Tfentham, will probably go out- favourite. . Achilledcs is likely to have a big following in the Spring Hack Handicap. Mount Victoria, who raced at Biccarton on Saturday/ is here- to contest the Plying Handicap. Glen&pfitfg is reported to be well, in which-case he sliould keep the opposition, busy. If reserved for the Electric Hack Handicap, Merry Guy should have a good chance. BOBRIKOFF SCRATCHED. (By Telegraph— £ress Association.) Auckland, November 18.
