BUSINESS MEN'S MEETING.
' PRESENT DISLOCATION. THE STATE'S ACTION' ENDORSED. (By telegraph.-* Tress Association.) Creymouth, November 17. A large and enthusiastic meeting of tho Chamber of 'Commerce was held tonight; and tho-following resolution was passed and a copy forwarded to the Premier and tho Hon. A. L. Hordman: "That this meeting congratulates you on tho action which your Government lias taken in. upholding the laws of tho country, and on your endeavour to keep tho channels of commerce open during the present crisis,, and also expresses continued confidence in your acfion, and their willingness to, assist .in oVery direction."
A further resolution.: was also forwarded to this Premier as' follows:: "That this Chamber is heartily in accord with the Arbitration movement, .'and expresses thehopo that the Government will remain firm to tliafc principle."
