Sir, —I have liad my attention drawn to the -few lines you havo placed at tho foot of my version of our last meeting, and in reply I beg to state that 1 absolutely repudiate having placed an advertisement info your hands regarding the stop-Work meeting. And should you still maintain that an advertisement was received from me on behalf of this union, I respectfully suggest you send the account in, a net then you caiT-summon me on behalf of this union for tho amount, because I shall willingly contest this matter in a Court of Justice, and will absolutely prove that I only gave a local and not an advertisement.—l am, etc..
