Allahabad, exploded on the mail train, injuring a letter-sorter. Similar esplasious have occurred at various newspaper offices, but no damage has been reported. 'While Colonel Muspratt, IttspectorGoncral of Explosives, was osamining a Jotter addrcs'sed to .the Caieutta "Englishman," tho missive exploded. Colcmel Muspratt's nioustacho and eyebrows were burnt off, the skin of his faeo was peeled, and his eyes narrowly escaped injury.
