An official proclamation issued, by the Central Strike Committee to-day stated emphatically that there would bo no giving in, and that from infoiraation in tho possession of the committee there was no sign of weakening. By tho unanimous wish of the union representatives on the Central Stiiko Committee it has been decided to recommend to all unioas that if,'-the. ''dispute is riot 'BetfJed' Very,' shortly they should cancel their registra : tion under tho Arbitration Act. "if the employers .persist in the attitude they have taken up," says this official, declaration; "amplications will arise and. tho position will bb worse'than it .was before, if unions that aro now, registered under tho Arbitration Act cancel their registration." 'A great deal has' been mado by the general public," says the Strike Committee, "of tho part that has beon taken in this strike by the Federation of I abour. The sooner they get this bogy out of thoir heads the better it will be for all concerned. There is only ono representative of the Federation of Labour on tho Central Strike Committee. ' The great majority of the delegates on the committee are representatives from Arbitration unions."

The Centril Strike Committee is making arrangements for every union now on strike to hold meetings to disouss tlio question of cancelling their registration. The feeling of representatives on < tho Central Committee, is that every union is determined to take this step. "It is a case of starvation or Federation," tho committee 6tate3.- "Auckland has led tho way, and from news wo have received from the south wo beliivo that tho other centres will shortly follow in our footsteps. Tho gaoling of leaders has hardened up the workers, and the fight, far from being ended, has only just begun."
