AMERICAN TEAM SAILS,

Mr. W. G. Talbot, secretary of tho New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association received the following cable message last evening;—"Team left; Peixotto, manager.—Uiwnaek." This was dispatched from San Francisco (via Pacific) at 8 p.m. oo Wednesday last. This means that the team left by the Tahiti, which is due here on December i.

Mr. Peixotte, who is mentioned as manager, is assumed to bo Major Peixotto, who toured Australia and Now_ Zealand as manager of the Californian boys a couple, of years ago.
