»■■ ■ .-■- ' STOLEN GEMS BIDDEN IN FRUIT. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright Rome, November 12. Gasparo Boscaririo, a, jeweller of Naples, ; was robbed of £20,000 worth of jewellery. The'poTieo searched a fruit shop without result. Later, they noticed urchins playing with jewels in a gutter. The children confessed that they stole oranges and citrons, in'whioh they found tho stones. The police then re-examined, tho shpp, and found the fost of the- stones hidden hi fruit. They arrested tho shopkeeper.
