A NOTICE OF MOHCW. At'last'night's City Council meeting, Councillor Fletcher asked if the lease of ; tho Market Jtesorve would be set asido for thopurpose of erecting a market. The Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke) said that was a very pertinent question, but notice of motion would have to bo given beforo it could bo dealt with. The position was that no money was being set aside, for tho purpose, and it would bo necessary for someone to movo in that direction, hut during his term of office ho did not propose that. Councillor Fletcher intimated that ho would give notice of motion.
