There was a good attendance at the Church of Christ, Petone, last night, when Mr. Grinstead gave an address on "Redemption." Several visitors came out from the South Wellington Church of Christ, and also some from the Hiitt Church. A vroll'-atteiuled meeting of tho Petone Housewives' Union was held last evening, and was addressed by Mrs. Donaldson, of Wellington. The secretary reported that the membership was now a solid one, and siie -entertained hopes of an incrnaßo when tho present labour unrest had been settled.
