PRESBYTERIAN ASSEMBLY.

(By Telegraph.—Press Astociatifi-n./ Chrlstchurch, November 11. The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church met to-night, Dr. Erwin, the Moderator, presiding. It was decided, in view of the present uncertainty as to travelling facilities _on account of the strike, to adjourn sine die. The opinion was ex-pressed that the montili of February, suggested hy Assembly officials, would be unsuitable for Canterbury on account of the harvest. The Assembly will be called together again by tho Assembly officials.
