Tho Social Purity Congress at Minneapolis has denounced the modern problem novel as the chief cause of immorality, declaring that it led a certain class of people to imitate the experiences recorded therein.

Dances, including tho "Bunny Hug," "Turkey Trot," and "Tango," are also declared to ho dangerous to social morals.

The Social Purity Congress at Minneapolis, discussed the American dirorco. laws, which Bishop M'Cormack denounced as being really a system of "trial marriages," if not actual polygamy. Diyovco was formerly considered shameful, but in America was now almost respectacle. Msn and women boasted of tho number of their marriages.
