LIVE STOCK SALES.
Messrs. Dalgoty and Co., Ltd., report:— At our Waikanao ealo yesterday we had a small yarding of shoop and fair entry of cattlo. Buyers did not attend in largo numbers, and the sale was rather a dragging one. Our principal sales wero aa under:—Primo fat wooily ewes, 265. lid.; small woolly hoggets. 10s. 6d.; two and a half-yo-ir steers, £4 17s. 6d.; stcors, £5 ?«.; medium eighteen-months to two-year steers, £3 13s. 6d.; bulls, £3 ss, to £5; wcaner heifers, '395.; cows in calf, £4 lis.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. report:—At "Waikanae yesterday we had a fair yarding of stock, and have, to report a total clcaranco at satisfactory prices as under:—Heifers, r.w.b.,, £3; empty heifers, £3 116.; spr-ingiiig cows, £8 15s. to £9 155.; buUs, £4 55.; fat bullocks, £11. .
