CASE NEARING ITS CLOSE. By Telegraph—Press Association— G.op.iriffh't St. Petersburg, November 7. The trial of the Jewish clerk, Mendel Beiliss, for tho alleged murder of a Christian lad named Yushchinsky, is nearing its close. Counsel lor the del'enco has opened his speech. Large bodios of troops are being drafted to Kielf as a precaution against possiblo pogroms (mass-acres of Jews).
