Reports are current that King Otto of Bavaria, who has just been superseded in the monarchy by Ludwig 111 (as cabled last week), is imitating Nebuchadnezzar, and eating grass from tho lawn. The King troublos himself as- littlo about money as he does about time. Taking nourishment is bottoming increasingly irregular. Ho ' frequently flings tlio plate and knifo on tho floor, or at tho heads of his entourage. Ho no longer sits at- tlio tablo, but clutches his food from the plate and eats out of his hands.
