AN INDIGNANT WOMAN.
(T-o th-e Editor.) Sir,—l -was delighted to read your article in this morning's paper about tho strike, fam sure everyone will agsw with you that these men bavo been too leniently dealt with. It makes m,v blood boil, as I go down the streets, to bear them saying "The police Aire not fire-," or arrest them. I wonder that the onlookers do not take ths law iuto their own liands and break a few heads. I would dearly like to do so myself. The "specials" deserve great praise for tho way they behave, but they also deserve better treatment and protection.—l am, etc.., . A MERE WOitfAtt.
