SUMMARY AND FORECAST.
Present indications are fot boisterous and ■unsettled weather, with raid generally, heavy in many parts. Strong' west to south-westerly winds prolxvhio northward of Hokitika and Timarn, and south-easterly winds elfeivhere. The barometer' is due to ri6o evcrywlioru soon, but only temporarily in the south. The atmospheric depression centred in the south-westward has intensified cm. sidcrably, and strong northerly and westerly winds have prevailed. Ka.in. has fallen in many parts, aod unsettled conditions have ruled. .
