Three hundred students of the Queen's University "ragged" tho Opera House, destroying the scenery and damaging tho building to tiho extent cf £300. ' , , Tho Mayor intervened, and the police stopped the riot. Several 6tudonts and policomen wero injured. The Press characterises the incident as tho most disgraceful in tho history of tho University.
