A meeting o£ delegates to the Farmers' Co-oporative Organisation Society of Now Zealand, Ltd., \vas held at tho Manawatu Showgrounds to hear proposals which are to bo forwarded to tho society regarding the distribution of produce oil tho Home markets. The proposals were put forward by Mr. G. H. Buckeridge, of Eltliam. Tho delegates. will lay them before their directorates with a recommendation' that tliey should bo approved. (By Arrangement.) 'A PALMERSTON ATTRACTION. Amongst the thousands who visit Palmerston North for tho great summer show is a very large percentage who go straight from the train to "The Rendezvous" (the meeting-place of thrifty buyers), ; Messrs. Collinson and Cunninghame's. The firm are- catering for a growing clientele, because mail orders are, now-, regularly received from tho far north, the winterless north, to Southland. Every transaction is backed up by firm's standing guarantee of "satisfaction or your money back." Mr. John Onnninghamo has been at Home for many months personally directing buying operations, and this means that many . rare bargain purchases have been mado from manufacturers. .. During the past month an additional dressmaking room has been started under the direction" of Miss Colyer, who came direct from London, uiidor engagement to tlie firm. Finding that so. many customers wanted footwear, Messrs. Collinson and Cunninghamo have just opened a boot department. About 3000 pairs were bought at Home by Mr. Cunninghams to start the -hew department-, and the usual C. and C. values prevail. Just off the press is-tho firm's summer catalogue of 82 profusely illustrated. A copy will'bo sent post free to any address-on request.*
